Boston native, ToRena Webb, received her BS in Dance Performance and Choreography from the State University of New York at Brockport. She has extensive Caribbean Dance training from the Edna Manley School of Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, Jamaica.
In August, ToRena was chosen as an Emerging Artist to have her choreography produced at Green Street Studios in Cambridge. She recently choreographed and performed in Riverside Theatre Works production of Children of Eden. Some of her most recent projects include her one woman show A Walk With Nanny: A Journey Through Caribbean Folklore, performing with Mosaic Dance Body in Austin, Texas and at the Artbeat Festival in Somerville. She also has performed with numerous dance and theatre troupes such as African Repertory Troupe, Snappy Dance Theatre, and the Underground Railway Theater. Currently ToRena teaches dance and theatre arts education through Community Music Center, Cambridge Performance Project and Riverside Theatre Works.
